21-28 'A' Squadron arrive in Kuwait.
March
5th HQ Squadron arrive in Kuwait.
6th March 'B' Squadron arrive in Kuwait.
19th March 'A' conduct relief in Place with 6 Kuwaiti Brigade.
20th March First hostile act, Cruise Missiles launched against Bagdad. Two Iraqi missiles fired in retaliation, second landing at HQ squadron's location.
21st March Ground War starts. BGHQ Recce Party crosses International Border into Iraq due West of Umm Qasr.
22nd March 'A', 'B', and 'C' Squadrons cross into Iraq.
23rd March 'C' Squadron land on Al FAW peninsula.
30th March 'C' Squadron fighting in the battle for ADU Al KASIB.
31st March 'A' Squadron raid on the Shatt Al Arab destroying the barracks.
April
1st April 'A' Squadron move to the North of Basrah, crossing the Qumast Ali canal and destroys a militia compound.
8th April BGHQ relieved of the PWHO task and assumes responsibility for the Div rear area and take 'B' Squadron under command
9th April 'A' Squadron cross the Shatt Al Arab and exploit to the Iranian border.
30th April 'C' Squadron released by 3 Commando Brigade back to command QDG.
May
15th May Regiment re-grouped, taken off task and into refurbishment.
