First and Foremost – The regimental band of the 1st The Queen’s Dragoon Guards
A compilation of music from the regimental band of the 1st The Queen’s Dragoon Guards.
This double compact disc of over 120 minutes covers recordings made by the band from 1959 to its demise in 1994 in favour of a Corps Band. The material for the two CD’s was chosen by the museum curator who is an ex member of the band. Music from a 1971 recording session was never put on vinyl but recently the original tapes were handed over to the curator and some of the numbers recorded appear on disc1 under Catterick 1971.
