Major John Hamilton
It is with sadness that we inform you of the death of Major John Hamilton, who sadly died on Friday 5th January, aged 105. He was one of the last living survivors from Dunkirk where he served as an anti-aircraft gunner. He commissioned into the King’s Dragoon Guards in 1945, retiring as A Sqn Leader in 1959 during the amalgamation.
For those of you who wish to attend, the funeral for Major John Hamilton will be held on Friday 19th January, 2 pm at The Church of St John the Evangelist, High Street, Sutton Veny, Warminster, BA12 7AP.
