Lieutenant Anthony Hesketh-Gardener  (1937-2023)

Anthony sadly passed away on June 10th 2023 at the age of 86.

After his time in the army where he was known for his wit, intelligence and sporting prowess, Tony’s life unfolded as a vibrant tapestry, woven with threads of compassion, creativity, and a relentless pursuit of knowledge.

Having attended RMA Sandhurst, he served with the Regiment from 1959 to 1961, before embarking on a distinguished career in the defence and aviation industry, most notably as a Board Director with Janes Publishing Group and then as founder of his own media business, which he established in 1985.

Regarded as the quintessential English gentleman, let us reflect on a life well-lived – a life that began in the halls of academia, flourished through creative endeavours, and radiated the warmth of familial bonds.
