WOII Scott ‘Scotty’ Lowe

Dear Generals, Colonels, Ladies and Gentlemen,

It is with sadness that I inform you all of the death of WO2 Scott ‘Scotty’ Lowe who sadly died on the 22nd October after a long battle with his health.  Scotty initially joined 4 RTR and transferred to the Regiment during Options for Change in 1992, joining A sqn.  He served on operational tours in Northern Ireland, Bosnia, Kosovo, Iraq and Afghanistan and was a staunch Mess Member, being renowned as the ‘first in and last to leave’.  Scotty completed his regimental service as RSWO in 2011, transferring over to the Army reserves were he took an FTRS post as MTWO of 151 Transport Regiment.

WO2 Scotty Lowe has now been repatriated to his family up in Scotland, please see the information below for his Funeral.

Scotty’s funeral will be held on Tuesday, 12th December at 11:30 am, at, Holmsford Bridge Crematorium, Dreghorn, Irvine, Ayrshire, KA11 4EF, Scotland.  Following the funeral there will be a wake celebrating Scotty’s life at the Crown Inn, Main Street, Dreghorn, Irvine KA11 4AH.
